Hi pudzy1! :hello: Welcome to the fourm! Welcome

Are you using Paint for screen captures? If you are, I might be able to help you get the s'caps bigger.

When you take the s'cap and go into Paint, the entire screen shows up. Click on the 'crop' tool. Shown here. (this is on Windows 7, IE 8, but it's similar on earlier versions)

Outline what you want to be in the s'cap with the crop tool.

Right click on the selected area, select 'cut'

Click on the dark blue box (top, left or file if using an older version) select 'new'. A pop up will ask if you want to save, select 'no'

Paste into the white square. Again using the dark blue box, click 'save as' and save it as a jpg and it should show up as full size.

Also, you may have to change your attributes. Click on the dark blue box (or file) in upper left corner, then 'properties' from the drop down menu. (this sets the size of the white box that you copy your pic into)

This is what I have mine set at...

I don't know if this helps, but if not, holler and I'll see if I can come up with something else.

Pudzzy1, if my instructions don't help, here's a video tutorial by Skipper that might. (I'm more of a visual person, and this is what I used to learn)

Hi Night owl .I did use Skippers video it was a great help to teach me how to use paint .I am just learning to use a PC & I am in my 60s so some of this a little too technical for me yet .I really do want to learn to put pictures in as not many folks are looking or posting about the Lafarge eagles . I finally learned how to use the file to put the pictures in the message .Check some of my crazy posts in Lafarge

YAY! Very Happy Good job Pudzzy!

After looking at your attempts, I thought it might be your attributes. Your computer was seeing the entire white box as part of your s'cap. It's not that I'm good with computers, but I've made similar mistakes. Nodding

*ahem* I'm in my late fifties, so who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks! Rolling on floor laughing

Glad I could help!
