Blackwater posted the cam ospreys should be returning in a couple of weeks.

The first osprey on the cam nest last season was 3/18, both on the nest 3/24. The East Coast Ospreys have been returning very early this season. Blackwater documented an osprey (not the cam nest) on 3/5….watch the cam…could be early.Chin

Hi JAZZEL and Mary,

Thank you for the BW Osprey information and s'caps. Grin

Am quite interested in the BW Osprey; thinking that others are also interested. Seems like we just do not have enough hours in a day this season. Hoping things will soon settle down a bit.

Again, thank you, Jazzel and Mary!

Update posted on the site.....

8/11:
On Friday morning, we had an osprey that appeared to have a faint necklace, which is similar to our female from last year. In addition we had this bird on Thurs., which we thought looked more like the male. So we're not sure if we've been seeing two different birds.

Note: This cam is now at 30-second updates.
