She could be young, she may be stressed from the protracted intruder/territory issues on this nest. This nest had it's first egg 12/29/09 last season...the nest is two months behind schedule. It could also be a young male...endless possibilities...watch, wait and seeDon't Know I do know thisFaint

Two eggs...Barb Walker, from the cam site, emailed me saying she thought there may be two...she didn't give a time...and I was out. I watched, and saw the female roll both...I thought what looked like a second egg could have been nesting material...but she rolled them. She's having a hard time keeping both under her, one is next to her wing now, the other under her.

Since the second egg they've been doing a great job taking care of the nest. I caught an incubation switch this morning, looks like 3 eggs in the nest nowGrin

Good Morning!
My husband and I were vacationing in Madeira Beach, FL the first week of May. While there we always take a drive up to Dunedin to the "Rainbow's End" Quilt shop and then to Tarpon Springs ( the Sponge Capitol of the World) for a Greek Dinner. Learning about the Osprey cam in Dunedin, Don got the quadrients and put them into our GPS. How exciting to find the nest and actually see the Osprey's still there! Here are actual site pictures! Pictures were taken on 5/5/11 around Noon.

This is the Dunedin Golf Course where the nest and cam are located.
