12:56AM Ma is still in the same position as in Birdsie's last s'cap. The winds seem to have died down though...considerably! Nodding

Good (very early) morning - and thanks for your reports.

12:50 am
It looks as if she's back to sleeping upright for a while

I suppose this could be more common than we realize - not that many cams have had night vision. And I do know that we've been concerned at other nests over the amount of time the first egg seems to be left uncovered, with the adult either sitting there ignoring it - or away from the nest altogether.

Back to bed for a couple of hours.

2:16AM Ma finally raised up off the nest and is preening now. No view of the egg and she hasn't attempted to turn it yet. Don't Know

2:27AM Ma has been in this position for the last few minutes. I assume her head is tucked and she's sleeping, but it sure looks awkward! She also appears to be standing.

2:30AM Ma's awake! The winds have suddenly picked up again also. Never mind...she just tucked her head again. Still no activity concerning the egg either....and I can't see it.

3:10AM No change. Ma's still got her head tucked and is in the same position as earlier. It's still pretty windy, too.

OK, I've got to get my day started, so I'll leave it up to the day crew now. Hello Out
