Started watching the cam before full daylight. Was fortunate enough to see the complete first feeding. Both eaglets ate breakfast.

Mom sees her little eaglets begin to wake; she stretches her wings to get the day started.


Next order of business for Mom is to call Dad - he didn't show.


First bite of food served to Big.

Little gets a big bite.


Last bite of food went to Big. Mom is finished with breakfast.


Eaglets getting ready to be tucked-in. Mom gets comfortable with the 'lets completely under her.

10:12 Lets covered from the wind but may be on the front porch.
10:19 Eagle is facing 12. Then it gets up and exits from 9. Little moves to get closer to Big. Big is peeping. Both lets sit up and look around.
10:20 Eagle stands of fence then moves to 6.
10:21 Settles over the eaglets facing 12.



Looks foggy or rainy here. It sure is windy.

Lo: 53° Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph in the evening."

Eaglets are tucked under Mom.


Oops - Mom left the nest. Eaglets are alone.

7:20 am, Adult flyby.


7:22 am, Parent returns with nest fluff.


7:24 am, Parent covers 'lets with fluff.


7:40 am, Parent brooding facing 7. Eaglets are mostly covered with fluff; can see Big Sis moving her head in front.

Morning feeding went well; both 'lets ate breakfast. Eaglets were trying to get accustomed to their new nest fluff barrier; therefore, Big Sis was not as active as usual. Mom often gazed about while feeding; most likely traffic in the area.

Little gets a bite.
