Another feeding - and both are looking good. It looked as if the bigger one was being a bit of a bully at first, but the little one popped right back up, and both are now lined up for food.

Just saw the adult reach past the big one to feed the little one.

I'm afraid the s'caps are a little ragged - I was taking them fast for fear that the cam would freeze.

Both parents are on the nest. I think Mom is feeding while Dad is waiting to take a turn brooding the chicks (or at least that's my guess!). Mom's blocking some of the view, but I have seen both chicks up looking for food, though I think the older one was more active at the beginning.

Looks as if the cam has frozen for the moment - happy I did get a look at the family. Smile

The chicks aren't visible, but I thought this was a cute picture of Mom and Dad

One has now left, and the other is brooding the little ones.

Mom did get most of the snow off her wings and briefly checked the eaglets (caught a glimpse of grey fuzz).

Oh dear - that's a lot of snow. I know they've got a nice warm nest, and they sure know what they're doing, so the little ones should be fine. It sounds as if it will let up later in the day - so they should be able to do some feedings then. Keeping fingers crossed.

Thanks much for looking-in, JudyB,
I know Sequoyahs also appreciate your warm thoughts.

Parent nearly covered. Certain that these 2 parents will pull together today.

Thanks for posting the picture of dedicated Mom, CAL.
Mom just got up, carefully backed to the edge and shook herself off, and is now feeding the chicks. It's not easy to see them - but I'm 95% certain I'm seeing two small moving objects as she feeds, so I think both are doing well.

Feeding is over - I'm pretty sure both were fed a reasonable amount. Mom carefully moved around the nest, making sure to not knock any snow into the nest, and settled back to brooding. love
