I saw that also.
7:31-7:43 Then the eagle hunkered down all tucked in.

7:51 eagle looks for food for eaglet, doesn't find much and returns to incubating.

glory be.....SUNSHINE .....on the nest.


Will be good to see some food come in also.......

9:36 to 9:40 feeding.

The egg and eaglet are in the sunshine....the parent is eating at 5. The eaglet moves from behind the egg to 5 wanting to be fed. The eagle begins to feed the eaglet.





The sky is clear and it is so nice to see the sunshine.

I saw both parents on the nest, but wasn't sure the eaglet was fed - thanks, Donna! I do know they only need a bite or two per feeding at this age.

I think these are from a little earlier - just finding time to post now.

Was watching the same 9:35 am timeframe. Saw both parents on the nest for a moment but no s'cap. Looked to me like Mom was looking for scraps for the 'let; she tried to feed but not sure little got anything. Very active 'let did an almost 45 degree walk-about (or stumble about) around the egg while parent watched from the rim.

10:13 am, Mom facing 5-6; can see no new food at this time. Eaglet tucked-in.

I was thinking there might have been a bit of feeding at 10:17 - 10:19 am



Eaglet definitely looked healthy and spunky.

10:16 - 10-20am,
Did not see the food delivery but am certain that eaglet had several bits.
