A few updates.
I was watching BOT last night when mating was occuring. Fingers crossed.
HOP now has 8 eggs. She can stop at any time now.
STarr--tonight Pete climbed up to the next to use a soapy spray to deter the velvet tree ants that have been all over the cam lately. Posters there were glad that they weren't argentine ants. The lens was cleaned and aimed slightly to be able to see into the nest with less obstruction and the count showed 5 healthy babies and 1 remaining egg. Posters over there said that they may have seen Mom carry out the remains of a dead chick and that it may have been hatching #5
There wll probably be a You-tube posted of the cleaning party as at least 2 people recorded it
GHO nest in Boulder has 2 eggs as of a day or so ago.
I think that's it for now.
