waveFreinds of this nest... Droped in between 9am and 10 this morning and saw nothing at either nest:dunno:
Then about 20minutes ago had to drive to the store and went past the old nest tree with one in the TreeLeft thumb up
They seem to be hang ing around the old tree more then the new nest . So keep your fingers crossed

:hello:Larry, I don't see any red colouring in the hawk's tail feathers. It could be a dark juvenile red-tail or it could be a rough-legged hawkPuzzled Yes, lets hear from Doug; I'm sure he'll knowLeft thumb up

Hi All,

At 1 pm I came out of the building and noticed both at the new nest. The larger one was there for about 15 mins then flew off east while the smaller one continued to sit there above the nest before i had to go back inside.

:hello: Peter and freinds of this nest,
Peter, Thats good and bad news wrapped up in oneFaint Good that the Eagles are Here,But not so good -for the HWF cam ! or PCT.Getting time for them to really decide where Home will be. From the cam ,I don't beleive there has been any activity in the Old nest bowl ( but I have been wrong before)
And they are still hanging around the old nest ( so telons still crossed )

Hi Larry and all,

First I did notice the smaller one still at the new nest when I left today after 2:30, As for the old nest on Friday I noticed 1 eagle soaring over head around 11 am and went back into get me camera as it appeared to be taking advantage of an up draft.By the time I got back out of the building it tool me a bit to find it again but it sort of started to swoop by the perch pole then headed to the old nest, From where I was I lost sight of it but as I was headed over to the old nest it appeared again flying from the direction of the old nest going north east. I suspect it stopped by the old home for no more than a few minutes before heading out again. I never got a chance to take a picture. Oddly enough I have yet to see more than 1 at the old nest but seem to see them both at the new one so it is hard to say what they will do.

Here are a few of the pictures I did get today of the smaller one

Here is the larger one before it took off to the east.

Larry I watched the larger one fly directly to a tree at the east end of the inlet and I am going to try to create a google map of known perches so we may be better able to find them when we are looking for them
