Mom was in the nest at about 2:30 this afternoon and they turned Cam #1 on her. The results were the first ever close-ups that I have ever seen of lovely Mom and her eye coloring. She really does seem to have gray feathers around her eyes!! It certainly makes her easy to identify!

Wow - those are wonderful, Mary! I am so glad you were watching at the right moment! Wow!

Earlier I tuned in to see a snow covered unmarked nest. later the nest had been visited and new sticks were there. Now they have brought in new bedding and lots of it. Maybe I will see them next.

The person manning the cam gave us this wonderful look at what is under the nest tree...beautiful with the snow!!!!

There were no visits by the eagles to the nest today. There was a little more snow covering the "fluff" that they brought the other day AND there were plenty of these cute birds visiting for most of the afternoon. Does anybody know what they are?
