Awww Larry so much for visiting the nest for me and capturing those beautiful pictures of Ma they are awesome as usual Ma is such a beautiful subject too !! I agree this nest is in a perfect place and I will definitely be back next year too!!

I have been out and about with Santa the last few days but wanted to stop in here tonight to personally congratulate and thank Kareen for her generous donation to our calendar. Kareen submitted a beautiful picture that was taken near the Vanier Nest and it was selected and it will appear in our beautiful HWF 2011 Eagle Calendar. Kareen I cannot wait to see your beautiful picture in high gloss print when the calendar is released in a couple of weeks!! Thanks again for your generous contribution

Additionally, on behalf of HWF I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of you our membership for your wonderful contributions too! Your loving observations, beautiful screen captures, life like pictures and fantastic videos 24/7 and 365 days a year are really commendable and warmly appreciated!! Now Santa and I would like to remind you that the deadline to order our beautiful calendar is fast approaching....the last date to order is Friday, November 12! Calendar orders are only accepted Monday to Friday by calling the HWF office (see numbers below) during normal working hours (Pacific time).

Now off I go with Santa he is honking the sleigh horn at me...no doubt telling me to get the lead out since we have a few more stops to make tonight !

When I was leaving I noticed a crow picking at a left over Canada goose on the ground below the nest.

Freinds of this nest ( Hi Deb) Made it down on Sunday on are rounds around 1pm and found both Ma and Pa at home in the nest tree

Again they didn't stay but 5 or10 Min. and flew off south.
So off to Lafarge
