Debs and any others who may want to know we have a new overhead cam with night vision. The side view cam was on for a while but it and the daily pix have been out of operation since mid Dec. We have seen the eagles most consistently between 3 and 5 mst. Amy from raptor resource says that when the new cams are fully operational the daily pix will be there also. They are hoping to have sound this season as well. They were getting some interference from a local radio station. We have not heard back on how that is working out.

Right now the best place to view the nest is with the cam that is giving an overhead view and the cam seems to take a pic every 2 to 4 min. It seems to be a 2 min, 2 min, 4 min sequence. But I am often quickly taking snaps that I am most certainly not precise. It is found when you first log into the site. Kittenface and I are eagerly awaiting the return of the daily pix.

We will be as glad as the eagles to have the temps warm up at bit.....tis in the mid teens as I write. BRRRRRR! especially since we were having mid 50's just a few days ago.

Temps in the teens overnight. No activity at the nest this morning as of 10:23 a.m. The snow in the nest is undisturbed by talon or beak. It will be partly cloudy and in the mid 30's today. It was breezy during the night but pretty calm now.

It is sunny and in the mid 30's today. I have not seen the eagles this morning. Perhaps they will find more bedding and sticks and visit later.
