It is so nice to have you back Pam, The Mission area really is so beautiful it will be wonderful to 'show it off' in this thread.

Circumstnces kept me from this years Fraser Valley BE festival but I did get out on one of the 'mini' boat tours. it was awe inspiring!

Cheers!

Terry

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

I saw on Scotts thread that he had used a map.. I have decided to do the same. Map coming up!
If you saw my nest, you would have been on the River ride.

Everything seems to be in order with the nest. However the perching tree is leaning heavily to the right. On the brightside, there is a nice alternative perch pretty much right beside it. The nest was empty but there still was one lone eagle sitting in the bank trees watching a tug boat try to move a log boom.

Moving in closer, Mr Eagle was content with the tug boat and didn't pay much attention to me down below.

Up the path, in the distance, you can see the other nest, however without much activity nearby, it's hard to tell who belongs where.

Some of the ground neighbours came to see what I was doing. One of the sparrow family I believe.

At this point I decided a walk down to the yellow-star nest would be in order, since that seemed to be where most of todays activities were taking place.
( I did not know the nest was down until I got there and couldn't find it.) Some of the eagles were flying around and some drying off, perched with wings slightly unfolded
