It's the same as the one you posted of the one eagle in the nest.

Clear Creek is a major waterway for the eagles that are perching in the Coors tree. It is about 2 blocks norht of the tree. This creek comes right out of the Rockies onto the plains. Then the SV eagles are on the Platte. And the Standley Lake eagles have Standley Lake and the the open space there to hunt in. Many eagles winter in Pueblo along the river there. Those that are monitored nest in Missouri or along the Mississippi River in the spring and summer. They go as far north as northern Minn and south to Missouri (as well as other places they favor). There was a big write up that I did not save on migrating eagles last Feb. in the Denver Post. So that is my source of info. Pueblo has an eagle festival in late Feb. or early March every year before the eagles leave.

So glad you found both eagles at home today....tomorrow they may have a snowy nest.....although the weather map shows that area as missing the snow. Snow starts tonight and ends by noon tomorrow. We need moisture BADLY.

Grin Hey Donna,

Not sure how I got them up so soon; just got all excited, I guess. Knowing that you are on-cam now, if I see them anytime again within the next hour, then I will hold back for your pictures. It's you turn. Titter

They are looking oh-so-beautiful. Thanks again, Donna, for expounding on Colorado Bald Eagle information for us and answering my questions. I am one curious individual, huh? I find your updates valuable and very interesting!
Thank You
