8:15 am, Still snowing and blowing; have not heart any trills this morning.

8:16 am, Sounded like wings flapping by the mic.

Last week when I was down with the flu I did take my head of the pillow a couple of times and look who I found at home ...Mom I think

at least not while I was watching....still early yet.

Morning ME :hello:

1025 am
Heard lots of calls in the area...sounded like a juvie
perhaps and an adult. Saw a couple of fly bys at the back
of the nest....flying from 11 oclock towards 1 oclock.

1045 am
Adult in the nest....Dad perhaps.


1048 am
Up to the Y.


1049 am
Perched on the Y.


1055 am
Nest appears empty but calls heard from within the tree!
Wondering if adult is perched up near 1 or 2 in the branches just
out of our view.

11 am
Nest still appears empty but can hear
calls from within the tree.

Possible perch sites may be....see scap below.
I did see a fly by and land earlier up and behind the branches
near 1 see arrow below!

1115 am
Still hear calls and thrills sounds like two eagles.
No visual.

Mom was in the nest for a bit ...
She poked around the bowl briefly.
Mom appeared to be tracking something outside
of the nest area too....saw a fly by at the back of the nest...
too far away and too quick to see what it was.
Mom then flew up to the Y perched briefly then
flew off ....

Was very nice to see Mom in the nest !

I am sure I heard a juvie in the area earlier today not to mention
crows too
