Here's a link to a new article by Record Searchlight Reporter Dylan Darlingabout the eagles and the eaglecam.
Kudos to Dylan for somehow managing to keep his newspaper articles fresh and interesting after 3 years of covering this story! Not an easy task by any means! Dylan!

Well, I'm not happy! Were we sold a bill of goods? This is the same camera shot I was seeing yesterday.
No branch shots. No wide angle. Weren't they going to have both cameras operational again this year? I realize they can only have one at a time, but, does this view mean that they don't have the wide angle? Guess a phone call is in order. Will post what I find out. Grrrrr

OK, here's the story. The cameras were cleaned and serviced in Oct before P and L came back. Since that time, our neighborhood pider has rebuilt it's web on the wide angle cam and yet another leaf has been caught. Poor Poor pider....nothing to eat but a stupid leaf and it seems to want to dangle in the middle of the camera view again. We need another major wind storm I guess.:dunno:

CAL04 for the first screen capture of the season!!!
Yes,it would be nice if P & L would make an appearance!
I usually see them between 4-5 pm in the nest area, which doesn't always mean in the nest!!!
