Kay, That is a lovely Mute Swan Family. I see that the cygnets have brown plumage. As you have seen the family I watch, the cygnet has white plumage. I have read about there being to possible different plumage colors. Thanks for all your great shots.

Doug, The seal shots are wonderful, especially the underwater shots you got. Great idea! The Pileated Woodpecker is one of my favorites, great catch! Really neat to see it working on that cavity in the tree. All the photos were awesome.

Here is a cute grey squirrel with a huge fluffy tail trying to hide a nut in the garden at Beacon Hill Park, on Oct. 21st. It saw me watching it and decided it might be best to eat it instead Click 2X bigger.
