Belle remains tucked in.
Gusty winds continue to blow.
Cam is buffering at times.

1035 PM
Belle remains in the same tucked in
position.
Windy with gusts up 41 km/hr.

1050 PM
No change.

11 PM
Belle was up just now did an egg roll; settles back in
and is facing the cam now. She did a bit of preening
from the seated position as well.
Belle has tucked her head into her back coat feathers again.

Time for my Sleep tight NCTC

Blizzard Warning: District of Columbia still in effect
Suppose to clear over night. Tomorrow will continue to
be windy but improved with variable cloud cover and sun too.

Belle just did a quick egg roll and then tucked her head back in. She's very calm in spite of the wind. I sure hope they get better weather tomorrow.

I adopted the Delta2 nest!

Belle had a bite to eat and took off...you can see the lone egg and she has been able to melt some of the snow under her and you can see part of the bedding of the nest....

7:58 am - a parent is perched on the rim right side of nest

7:59 am - flew off

8:01 am - parent returns and settles into bowl

8:02 am - second parent arrives with nesting material

8:05 am - sitting parent leaves bowl and stands on rim, then flies off followed by second parent

8:06 am - trilling heard in distance

8:23 am - nest still empty, very windy

Nest is empty; hear cheeps from near by.
It has quit snowing woo hoo wind gusts continue.

Soph nice to see a wider egg cup area this morning
Bev I see you were up early nice scaps
Eastcoast nice to see u here.

Sunshine is on the way!

832 am
Liberty flies in with a stick. Checks out the egg.
Belle flies in with a branch and places it near front
of nest.

Liberty flies out of the nest.
Belle is standing near 12 oclock; looking around. Wind tossles her
coat and head feathers.
