Thank you for bringing the news over, Lori. I wish the outcome had been better, but am glad that Sassy was in a safe place for her final journey. Go in peace, little one, and fly free forever across the rainbow bridge.

I read on the cam site that Phoebe has begun fixing up her other nest for her next clutch. I hope the conditions will be better, and she'll repeat the success she's had in the past.
