Joe posted a little bit ago that "none of the rehabbers are computer savvy". And I think he said one goes to another location to view the cam. So, I don't possibly see how the rehabbers could "monitor" Sassy well enough to understand that she is "failing to thrive" as the chat mods refer to dying. Happens many times a day, everywhere, but hard to see close up and in slow motion and to not have the power to help.

I cannot even talk/think/write. Thank you for keeping the vigil. I have written Joe, written in the Chat and even had rehabbers send him emails. He has all the power to get that baby into professional hands and hasn't.

Up for a stretch.

At 10:15 am Pacific Time Joe removed Sassy from the nest. She has gone with the rehabbers who have been observing her and said it was time. Joe said he took some pics and will post later. It looks like Phoebe is now very busy refurbishing the nest.

Here are some pictures/s'caps I took today of our darling Phoebe and Sassy. These were taken about 30 min. prior to Sassy being removed. Bless our sweet, little, beautiful Sassy and heartfelt wishes that she can now receive the care she will need to thrive. To Phoebe, who was a great mother to her.
