That sweet little coon looks cold!

Great Bohemian waxwings--and that is the way they congregate on branches, too! We don't get those here--we just get the cedar waxwings (usually twice a year)

Excellet flicker--with that nice chest marking showing perfectly..with all the characteristic "dots"

and that red throat on the sapsucker is perfect!

Oh man Birdsie now I don't remember what it was like out then to know if he's cold or just plain scared. Puzzled There's no leaves and if there's even buds on that tree they're very small but we had some great weather early this year.

When I got those Bohemian's I was all excited thinking they were Cedars which is what I was trying to get for my file. As it turns out that's the only time I've seen them and I see the Cedars all the time. Who knew?

I'm so glad you liked them

ETA: I just checked it and it was taken April 7th at noon hour, now to remember what it was like out...hehe. How's this for being a stickler for detail went to the historical database...our temps are in Celcius

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Beauties Pat, I love them! I got a bunch today or Bohemians I haven't looked at them yet but it's one or the other. Ok I've looked now they were Cedars everytime today.

I just have to show you guys what I think is the funniest shots I've ever gotten. These were three days ago and this Belted Kingfisher is often perched above that pond where the Canada Geese family is. First shot she's facing into the wind, then look what happened when she turned to look at me!! Laugh

In Osaka, Japan, where many apartment dwellers aren't allowed to keep pets, cat fanciers spend time with their favorite felines at the Cats’ Time Cafe.
