:hello: Wonderful action shots Ed! Your window must be very clean! Titter
This past week I saw 3 juvies soar in close out front. Suddenly a crow was in pursuit, but instead of just following them, it attacked each one of them in the air, over and over until they departed the area. I didn't want to miss the moment by running for my camera. Sad That crow worked so hard, must have been exhausted. We've thought there must be a nest close by but haven't seen one.

We had a rufous hummingbird in our back yard yesterday. It didn't come to the feeder but was attracted to the wall flowers. By the time we got the camera out, you guessed it, he was gone..................Sad This is only the second time we have seen one in our yard. We generally only see Anna's. So I hope he comes backfingers crossed Such a wee beauty!

you have such a great shot, very candid i might say but that actually makes it more interesting just goes to show that you really captured the pictures on the right timing. i particularly love picture of the birds because it is so difficult to spot them right on, for me atleast.makes me appreciate wild life more as i see these beautiful pictures.

Barred Owl, 4-17-12. Spotted this Barred Owl about 7 p.m. in a wooded area in our neighborhood, one block over from our house. Click to enlarge.
