Sid is perched at 9 preening self and
looking all around; Goldie is standing just below
Sid. They sure enjoy hanging out with each other.

Goldie transmitter is quite visible and hard to tell if
his feathers are affected at all by the transmitter.
Most days it is not so visible perhaps the lighting
or perhaps it is the way the feathers were preened
not sure.

Mom delivers a meal. It was gone in a flash.
Infact neither of the juvies were in the nest both
were branching.

I thought Goldie flew back into the nest first and claim
the prize but then Sidney returned and the next thing
I knew he was eating the meal....

It was funny to see Mom fly into the bowl with no one
seated at the table but it did not take long for the juvies
to return to the table

Sidney has been gone out of our view for
quite awhile now. Goldie is presently perched
near 11 but he too has been in and out of the nest
since my last post; branching about and flying short
distances to the branches out of our view!

I wonder how far Sidney has gone; so hard to know since
we our view is not wide angle.

Sidney has returned to the nest; he has been
doing some spectular wingercises, wingaroos
with exceptional lift and air time!! He got so high
he was out of our view. He is some anxious to fledge.
Goldie is perched at 11 and watching his big brother
perform !

I spoke too soon Sidney is gone again.

Thanks for the posts Deb! It sounds like they are both hungry. I haven't seen a food drop today but have been really busy at work so I am glad to see there has been at least one food drop today!

Hi Darlene so nice to see you!! Perhaps they cutting back on the food now to encourage flight. It was very funny last night when Dad dropped that fish

Goldie was doing some great wingercises and when
she landed she got tangled up with a stick.

Goldie has flown out of the nest to
a branch just out of our view near 5.
Can see wing movement periodically but
no guarantee she will stay there either.
Both Sid and Goldie are probably branch
quite abit out of our view.

Goldie has returned to the nest; cheeping
and peeping and can hear Sidney too; Sidney
sounds more distant though.

I can hear Sid but cannot see him; wonder if he worked
himself down or if he is in flight not sure.

Goldie is standing nest center looking all around and peeping.
And again can hear Sidney respond.
Goldie is looking over towards 10 but I do not see anything
there..

Sidney returns to the bowl from the direction of
3.
Sid decides he needs a rest and plops down center
nest.
Goldie still perched near 1.
