Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts. It is hard to let go of our furry friends because they are each so unique and they become such a big part of our lives. I'm looking through family photos from the last 9 years to put together a memory book of her for my son. That will help me put her to rest I am sure. hugThank You

Donna--I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your Grandog, Skye. I know that you and your family will always cherish the wonderful memories that were made over the years. It's always so hard to lose one you love, sometimes especially our furry family members who love you unconditionally. That memory book is a great idea. I have one for all of my lost furry babies and it helps so much to look at it when I'm missing one of them. I'm sure that your son will love your thoughtfullness. Red Heart

Hi Forum Friends,
I've received this email from Mac, who is a Panda Pal and posts at the panda threads and Lilly/Hope thread.
I offered her to include Bud with PonPon and Shannon who was PandaLover's beloved doggie.
So I decided to bring back our old Rainbow Bridge collage and put Bud's picture with them.
My heart goes out for you Mac, I know how much you loved him. hughughug

[Diana, our Bud has gone to the rainbow bridge... we found him dead on the back terrace this evening.
He was only 7 years old.

Even now, more than a year after loosing Bud,I still find it hard to speak of him but I must thank you all for your thoughtful and caring messages. Your words comforted me and they still do. My heary is still full of sorrow.Thank you all especially Diana for helping me and doing the collage.I will treasure it.

Dear Macdoum,

I see you sometimes around and about the forum.....I am so sorry about Bud. That had to be so hard for you! i had a golden retriever die at 5 in the same manner and it still shakes me to think of it years later. She was so special.

I am sure your Bud is thinking of you also and wishing he could be with you,
hugs,
carolyn

My gorgeous Ralph, aged 15, just crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was an Oriental Shorthair cream point who moved from NJ with us to Texas and believe me he was a character. He was my greeter whenever I went in or out of the house, always and was sad if I was not home. He managed to herd the other cats around quite well. Ralph might have been one of the most friendly cats you have ever met so everyone loved him. When the kids were just here they were carrying him around like a stuffed animal, which he loved. He also liked to drape himself around my neck to carry him around the house. He did manage to use up a lot of his 9 lives in these years having had Pancreatitis (from eating Brillo?), then cancer, then other issues.

Last night he did something he never has......he kissed me three times; very pointedly so. I was astonished and while I did not know what the results of this vet visit would be in my heart of hearts think he knew. I will miss cuddling him every night with him booting the others away. Here is a good picture I took today......

Ralph's quirky catsonality will certainly be missed around these parts.
