Jean, I just came here tonight and I'm so sorry to hear you had to let Heidi goCry Hanky You and Gabe gave her a wonderful life and I'm sure she gave you and Gabe so much love and joyhug You are in my thoughts and I know it will take a long time but you need to go through the grieving process. When I had to let my 2 beloved Maltipoos go many, many years ago, it took a long time to get over not having them come to the door to greet me when I got home from work. Your house will never be the same againSad Take care and cherish your precious memories of your time with Heidihug

I have been reading about so many who have lost their furry friends and I send my heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I lost my Gus in March and the ache is still so strong. Then we lost our friend, Mickie. He was my Gus and Max's playmate and suffered from diabetes for several years and went flind about 5 years ago but still remained quite active and healthy. Mickie was a black poodle and really has been failing since I lost Gus. The diabetes just got the best of him and it is still hard to let him go even when you know he is not enjoying life and is in pain. Now I can see him ripping and romping with Gus and being able to see and explore again and they are watched over by my husband Jim. I smile through my tears at that vision and know that we will all meet again at the bridge.

Hi Forum Friends,
I've received this email from Mac, who is a Panda Pal and posts at the panda threads and Lilly/Hope thread.
I offered her to include Bud with PonPon and Shannon who was PandaLover's beloved doggie.
So I decided to bring back our old Rainbow Bridge collage and put Bud's picture with them.
My heart goes out for you Mac, I know how much you loved him. hughughug

Diana, our Bud has gone to the rainbow bridge... we found him dead on the back terrace this evening.
He had no sign of injury or poison. We don’t know what happened to him. He was just lying there like he was asleep.
We saw him a half-hour before,he was just impatient to eat. We let him outside for a while to prepare his food and bed.
When I went to call him inside he was just lying there.
We are very sad tonight.

Diana - Thank you for the post of Bud for Mac.

Mac - So sorry to hear of the passing of your BEAUTIFUL cat. Whether sudden or expected, it is never easy. My love and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of grief. May the passing days fill you with nothing but loving comforting memories of the time you shared.
