Thanks Karen for posting a couple of Christian's photos. They are spectacular.

ATTENTION: Lynda has been interviewed by phone re the Red-tail in the eagle nest. It will be on CHEK News Victoria this evening. Also the Vancouver Sun/Province just contacted me as well for a story they are doing which should be in tomorrow's papers. So watch for those items.

I was at the nest site today for a few hours with a friend after we had visited 3 other nests that I didn't get to on Sat. The eaglets were up for awhile and we saw a bit of the little hawk chick but it didn't get up onto the side of the nest until after the eaglets had a short nap. There was so much flapping of huge wings I was afraid the hawk chick was going to be batted off the nest Oh My There were more people there today than on Sat. when I was there and one of them was Dr. David Bird. I haven't seen him since our very first Fledge Fest in 2007. He told me CTV would be arriving soon to interview him. When the reporter arrived and we were all introduced, he wanted to interview all of us. Rosemary was out in her front yard so I waved her over and she agreed to do an interview. I had told the reporter that we had to leave soon as I had to get my friend home before 4. Instead of coming back to us after interviewing Rosemary he went down the cul-de-sac and interviewed a fellow in his car. By the time he got back to us I told him I was sorry but we had to leave. David Bird called David Hancock while I was there so I had a nice chat with David H. I watched the segment on the 6 o'clock CTV news Video Camera

I have so many photos and videos to upload; I might be back later to post some photos but the videos won't be ready until tomorrow.

ETA: I just viewed my last video on my camera and the hawk chick was jumping and flapping its little wings Wub It and 2 of the eaglets all pooped during this video and huge wings were flapping like mad WooHoo
