Gratitude to both ella, and sassyk for the great update, but especially the pictures, they are all just beautiful and happy to know the hawklett is doing well. I sure hope that h/she fledges soon and wondering if it's hawk like instincts are kicking in as it gets ready to fledge. So much speculation, great to witness Mother Nature.

Thank you all for your continued dedication!

Thanks for all the nice comments; much appreciated Smile I will continue to visit the nest as I do every summer and will post photos and upload videos for everyone to enjoy. And I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'll be lucky enough to capture a few of the little hawklet after it fledges. Here are a few more photos from my visit yesterday.

Hawklet is sitting in front of the eaglet on the left; the other 2 eaglets are lying down.

All of a sudden those huge eaglet wings flew up and the hawklet put its head down.

That's my main concern currently, hawklet living with 3 sets of very large eaglet wings flapping and strengthening. It seems to have learned to avoid them quite well though. fingers crossed

Eta...Great pictures of the wingsercising!
