WELCOME TO THE 2016 SEASON!

RESERVOIR ROAD NEST

Welcome to this thread. If you visit the Reservoir Road nest you are welcome to post comments and pictures here.

This is a new nest in Sechelt found by Aspen! Thank you Aspen! Grin
Aspen, KarenH and Sandra have visited this nest and they will be posting their pictures. I have not visited the nest yet so will let the others give more of an explanation.

I will post a picture taken by Aspen when I receive it.

This is exciting Karen. I found another nest as well but have no idea if it is viable this year and met someone who told me he has a nest on his property in Roberts Creek. If Angela wants to see it for mapping I will go with her. We would have to cross his property every time we want to visit it.

With good information from Karen H and Aspen I was able to find the Reservoire Rd. nest yesterday! WooHoo
It is about 3/4 of the way up the road to the top of the hill on the left hand side, about .3 km from Selma Park Rd.
Nest tree from the upside. Can't see the nest from that angle. Two trunks together at the bottom.

Just past a hydro pole. From the downside.

No eagle sights nor sounds yesterday, about 11:30.

A small bit of whitewash on the leaves beneath to indicate life above.
