Saturday was World Wetlands Day.

It was also Groundhog Day. Cranbrook Lizzie, who admittedly is not a groundhog but a very active grey squirrel, was not able to see her shadow on her perch by Elizabeth Lake.

This immature bald eagle was spotted high above the St. Mary River near Cranbrook
