i was quite convinced it was a pip and this may be a weird thing to say but i am glad it wasn't. now the chicks can wait until the storm passes and then hatch

Puzzled If the egg has been rolled and there really was a pip it may be on the bottom out of sight. I guess we will soon find out! Time will tell! love

Talons crossed for this Family and the Norfolk and NCTC families tomorrow too;
this family has done well in the past so talons crossed they can weather

Here is the weather advisory. When I checked the weather network it appeared they down graded the storm slightly but this report has not been down graded yet.

TO 11 AM EST FRIDAY...

LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CAROLINA COAST THIS EVENING WILL STRENGTHEN
AS IT MOVES NORTH OF CAPE HATTERAS LATER TONIGHT. THE STORM WILL
RAPIDLY INTENSIFY THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT...AS IT MOVES UP THE
EASTERN SEABOARD. RAIN WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW LATER TONIGHT.
SNOW MAY FALL HEAVY AT TIMES AT A RATE OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER
HOUR....WHICH COULD RAPIDLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES IN A SHORT PERIOD
OF TIME TO NEAR WHITE OUT CONDITIONS (ESPECIALLY DURING THE EARLY
STAGES OF THE MORNING COMMUTE). SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES
WILL BE POSSIBLE BEFORE THE SNOW TAPERS OFF TO SCATTERED SNOW
SHOWERS THURSDAY NIGHT. ADDITIONAL LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3
INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT AND INTO FRIDAY. TOTAL
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW...SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS
TO NEAR 45 MPH WILL DEVELOP LATER THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH FRIDAY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES...AND MAY
CAUSE WHITE OUT (NEAR BLIZZARD) CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER

Well we was robbed Titter the night shift never got
even a widdle peek of those precious eggs.

Precisely at 10 pm Mom got up and the cam went off
no view of the eggs. Cam off for the night now.
