East Tennessee State University has eagle cams at two locations - Johnson City (JC) and Bluff City (BC) - and I'm going to try combining both locations in a single thread, so please note which nest when you post observations.

Both cams were set up in November 2015 by the Department of Biological Sciences, so this is their first nesting season on cam.

The cams are both in the Northeast corner of the state of Tennessee, so both are in the eastern time zone. Here's a bit of my bigger map sowing that Bluff City (the dark red pin) is a bit further north than Johnson City (the locations are approximate - they're in the right town on the right body of water, but both are on private property, so no detailed directions):

And this shows where they are in relation to some of the other nests:

This is the 4th year this pair of bald eagles has nested at this site. In the past, they have successfully fledged 2 eaglets each year. The female has distinctive dark tail feather markers that help with identification."

I'm not sure, but am guessing she just laid her second egg - but it's a deep nest bowl, so hard to confirm/

They're both on Eastern Time, Bev - I hadn't stopped to think about the possible confusion of using BC for the Bluff City nest. very embarrassed I've added them to my big map of eagle cams - will add a corner of that to the opening post.
