In the pics in the last post I was wondering if there was food under all that mantling or what. Looking at the pics if there was some food it was not much. And it was gone quickly. Here are three more pics from the visit this morning.

Yesterday beginning at 1p.m. the still cam was no longer operating. This morning yesterday's pics are still viewing. The cams have been on a month and a half longer than stated on the site. I will continue to check the cam status.

This has been a wonderful season at St Vrain. Bev, Carolyn, Cal04, Debs, Mary F., Castor, and Judy B it was fun to share it with you.

Soar free KC and Banner, eat well, and have a long life in beautiful Colorado.Click on image to download

Donna, Thank you for the incredible reporting on this nest. I love the names K.C. and Banner and the story about how you chose them! I look forward to next year with new eaglet and hopefully less snow.

Donna :hello: It was a truly wonderful season Clapping and this family Wub were so dang easy to fall in love with Wub I particularly loved your way of communicating your observations with us Grin and your sense of humor and sunshine was so appreciated. We always managed to have a chuckle or a belly laugh with you. I wish the family well  (with a wee lump in my throat) and a long life with food aplenty too. I truly look forward to next season with you and the rest of our wonderful family Wub that gathered here this season.

I sure hope they upgrade to a live cam with sound next season~~talons crossed.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to all our loved ones and friends fighting disease or cancer....may you be blessed with many small gifts each day!

Donna,

Thank you so much for taking us through the 2010 nesting season at Fort St. Vrain with sassy KC, Banner and their parents. Outstanding!

Am very much looking forward to the '11 season at St. Vrain. Have just been going back through the daily pix with joy and Wub

Friends of St Vrain eagles

Seeing the eagles back at Sidney makes me wish this cam was up now also. I just did a quick look back at this season and can not wait for the new season to begin, but that is really months away.

A question also......I notice that some of the nests are archived and the new season has been readied. Is that going to happen here too once the cam is up again in late January????

I checked the raptor resource site several weeks ago and there were no new notes there about the eagles. FYI
