I just added an early morning pic to my first post today, and will add a couple more pics of the eggs when I get home tonight.

2:08 pm
Mom(?) just got up, stood at the edge of the nest, and appeared to let out a holler!

She has been on the eggs a long time, and I think she's looking for a break or maybe a snack. She went back to the nest cup area afterwards, though I think she's standing beside it rather than incubating at the moment - and she seems to be looking around.

Oh, Dad....

I looked at all the stills for today and you can see two eggs at approx 9:42 am. I had to switch to the overhead to see them...so EXCITING...Here is a report of what I viewed on stills

It is snowing in west Denver area and may be snowing at the nest soon as it is further east of the foothills...
MST
8:22 no eagle at the nest.
8:24 eagle on the nest.
8:30 rolls the eggS.
9:18 rolls eggs.
9:52 off eggs, rolls eggs, settles again
9:58-10:00 no eagle in the nest.
10:02 eagle is in the nest, rolls eggs, off the eggs at about 9:42 and in overhead you can see 2 eggs
10:30 eggs roll and eagle on the nest until 12:00
12:08 to 12:12 nest is empty, then eagle arrives and rolls eggs.
1:30 egg roll attends the incubating til 2:30

will report again in a bit....Judy, Castor and anyone else this is VERY exciting to have the 2 eggs...only 2 to 4 inches forecast for this snowstorm....and will be in the high 30's and low 40's after the storm moves off.....

Thanks for all the updates!

3:25 pm
Adult stretched and left the nest; one egg clearly visible, can't see the other from this angle

3:33 pm
Eagle returns to the nest
She(?) has her back to the cam, but it looks as if she might be eating. Hope so, as I haven't seen any food while I've been watching.

3:43 pm
It looks like the eagle has finished her snack and is doing a bit of rearranging things in the nest cup before resuming brooding

Eggs uncovered about 18 minutes - no cause for concern.
I'm glad Mom (or maybe Dad) had a snack before the snow arrives.

The snack was a large fish....so it was a good meal for the eagle....in one view both eggs were visible....great to see so many watchers here now.....In the hour I have been watching have only seen one eagle at a time, but have no idea if the eagle that left at 3:24 is the same eagle that returned at 3:33

Thank you, JudyB and Donna,

Was hoping that the other parent would fly-in to incubate at snack-time.

3:33 p.m. MST,
Fly-in.
