Cal, I have wondered several times where the other chick was when they are at 3 or even 4. When the overhead cam is operating you can do a quick check and see them there. They can be hard to find in the shade too because they are getting so much dark coloration with the pin feathers.....

Looks like they have been fed and are being watched over by the adults. I think we just can not see them as they are perched nearby.

low 50's overnight and high 70's later. Then we have cooler weather and rain arriving with the next cool front.





One eaglet has been up stretching several times but then settles again. The other has been napping.
7:54 No parent in nest and no feeding yet.

The eaglets have moved around the nest today. At 1:00 a parent arrived and stayed on the nest for an hour. There was no feeding......after the parent left KC and Banner moved back to 3 where it is shadier.




It is in the mid 70's and quite windy.

There was a good feeding at 4:00.

This is Spring in Colorado.....Ma is on the nest and the eaglets are staying close to her.....both have been up and stretched and I think I saw my first poop shot......now they are huddled together. It was mid 30's overnight and only into the mid to high 40's today with precipitation expected off and on. The nest week looks wet and cooler as in the 50"s......





Eagle parents are the best......

It is still chilly, but the snow has stopped and it has melted at the nest. We are getting blue sky east of the foothills. Adults have been to the nest and one sat with the eaglets for awhile. They have not had a feeding except one try at nestovers. They are pretty snuggled in the nest bowl, but beginning to stir now.

11:53 parent on the nest with food. The feeding lasted almost 30 min. The parent stayed on the nest after the feeding.
The eaglets were snuggled center nest most of the afternoon. It rained for a bit in the mid afternoon. Currently it is clearing but remains in the high 40's.

Before the rain the eaglets were up and down but have been center nest most of the day.
