A parent has been on the nest all day. The eaglets were fed at 2:43 to 3:00. It is not raining or snowing right now at the nest. The eaglets have stretched and are up and down but not roaming very much. The parent stayed near and somewhat sheltered the eaglets in the rain. Now that the rain has stopped they are out in the open and the parent is closer to the fence. It does not seem as windy as it was in the morning. The temps never reached the 50's today.

Hi Bev. They are cute aren't they and getting VERY big. It may rain overnight and through the morning but Sunday is suppose to be sunny and into the 60's....

Looks like they are not in the rain this morning, but rain is in the forecast. It will be in the high40's or low 50's today.

5:46 at daylight parent is at 9 sheltering the eaglets who are in the nest bowl.
5:54 to 6:10 Parent feeds KC and Banner at 5.
6:16 to 6:36 parent is off the nest and the eaglets are in the nest bowl snuggled.
6:36 Parent incoming at 2. KC and Banner stay snuggled while parent stays at 2.
7:24 Parent exits at 2.
8:10 Parent at 11.
8:14 both parents on the nest.
8:30 one parent flies off at 2. Other parent is at 6 feeding the eaglets. Eagle blocks view of feeding.
Parent stays at a6 while the eaglets snooze in the nest bowl.
9:27 same as above

A parent has been on the nest all morning. Here the eaglets are both being fed. Feeding started at 10:50 and continues at 11:05.

It is a dreary day in the low 50's but so far no rain. Through this cold, wet spell the parents have been with the eaglets most of the time. Both parents have been on the nest today several times.

The sun is trying to shine and the eaglets are ready to roam....there has been much wing stretching and looking around.....so nice to see the sun.....Maybe they even called out "Yippee!"

April 25, 2010 mid 40's overnight and low 60's today......IT IS SUNNY

5:42 Parent on fence at 5.
5:48 Short feeding
5:50 parent off the nest. Eaglets are napping.
7:37 Parent comes in at 7. Several attempts were made to feed leftovers to the eaglets. 8:18 eaglets alone on the nest. They have been up and down in the nest bowl and are watching or snoozing.



They appear to be watching out over the valley below.
