Donna Your reports, observations and caps are great Boy....the letts are getting so big . Great that both had a nice long feeding this afternoon....Talons crossed there is plentiful food tomorrow for our growing letts !

Good night little eaglets. Tonight the moon is a crescent and you can see it when you stir. There are so many stars above you......sleep well little ones.....

April 19, 2010 Sunny today with the temps in the low 70"s.

6:25 Parent arrives at the nest. Parent and eaglets are at 3.
6:41 Parent flies in but has no food. Parent scrounges at 3 and 11. KC and Banner rest in the nest bowl.
Parent settles near them center nest.
6:57 Parent exits and Kc and Banner snooze in nest bowl.
8:04 One eaglet is on the move to 6. It is soon followed by the other. The eaglets have been alone on the nest.
8:34 They are cuddled near 4.




I can no longer tell which eaglet is which.....they are almost the same size and are so often cuddled or separate that it is hard to tell. They are both adventurous. They seem to like 3 and 6 and 9 for resting; but I am not able to say one prefers one of those places over the other. I often think that KC is first to food, but Banner always seemed to like to be close to the parent....they have grown fast. ...or so it seems.....

The cam is showing the falcon nest. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
Welcome 2nd eaglet at La Farge.....and all the others that I do not know about....

12:36 all are at 11.
12:48 feeding slowing down
12:55 eagle in the center of nest flies off at 3. KC and Banner are at 11 napping.

The eaglets have been on the nest alone most of the afternoon with several visits from the parents. Both parents were on the nest at 5:57. There was a feeding then at 11. All seemed to be sharing in this feeding.

5:46 to 6:26 eaglets sleeping in the nest bowl.
6:32 parent incoming at 3
6:34 parent moves to 11 and KC and Banner move there for feeding.
6:48 feeding continues.
