6:20 eagle flies off
6:48 both parents on the nest
7:36 adult near the eaglets who were resting in the nest bowl
7:44 settling down for the night....parent still near the nest bowl.

April 17, 2010 cooler overnight and mid to high 50's today. There is the possibility of rain in the afternoon.....

5:50 to 7:12 the eaglets are alone on the nest. This is the second day that I wonder how much of the night they were on the nest by themselves.
7:12 eagle at 9 feeding the eaglets.
7:14 Pa flies in and the family eats breakfast of fish together. The eaglets do not seem hungry. They had several late afternoon and early evening feedings yesterday. Both parents feed eaglets. One eats many bites the other a few even though both parents offered it food.
7:18 Pa is calling out. Ma moves to 5 and then around to 11 and looks for more food. Pa moves to 7, hops up on the fence and flies off.
7:21 Kc and Banner stretch and settle near 9-10 mid nest. Ma continues to look for food and eat at 11.

10:55 to 11:12 a feeding at 11. 11:20 eagle off the nest.
11:20 to 12:56 eaglets along on the nest. One in cneter and one at 2.

1:06 eagle at 6 1:38 to 3:38 raining at the nest and eagle has eaglets in center of nest snuggled next to it.
3:40 to 3:52 eaglets alone on the nest.
4:26 one parent on nest than both on the nest until 4:32 eagle on the nest until 5:14.

Eaglets are off to sleep......

April 18, 2010 light rain showers overnight. Temps in the high 30's and high 60's by afternoon. It is very cloudy, foggy at the nest this morning.

Eagle has been on the nest and then off. I have not seen a feeding this morning.....the eaglets were up for a bit but then settled down in the nest bowl and cuddled.

7:00 - 7:18 eagle on the nest, but no feeding of any length
7:18 -9:45 eaglets are alone on the nest.
9:45 eagle at 11 with both eaglets eating some but parent was looking more than feeding.
9:51 Eaglets remain with adult but hard to tell about feeding
10:25 both eagles on the nest again. Parent and eaglets at 2.
10:27 eagle flies off and other eagle and eaglets are at 11. Looks like a short feeding at 11 until 10:31
10:49 KC and Banner are back near center of nest.

I will keep a watch for a feeding as I work in and out today.

It is now sunny at the nest. The eaglets have been on the nest unattended for most of the day. There has not been a lengthy feeding all day, but their crops seem partially full. There is a new stick from 4 to 7 and the eaglets have been at 6 much of the mid day.
12:31 the eaglets are at 6.
2:13 eagle flies in at 11. Eaglets make their way there by 2:20. Eagle is foraging at 10/11 but I have yet to see a feeding.




The eaglets are moving about the nest pretty easily. It is fun to see them sitting or resting with their feet visible.

The streaming cams are down....

Happy to relate that the eaglets had a nice long feeding from 3:06 to 3:50.

3:54 Parent flies off and KC and Banner are napping at 11.
