As dark settled over the nest KC and Banner were snuggled inthe center of the nest with a parent right next to them.

I also saw a feeding in the evening stills. Both parents were on the nest for awhile this evening.

Well my mohawk is betta!



Real hot little 'lets...panting a lot. Look at that tongue! Both mohawks look pretty good!!

These guys are looking good - thanks for all your reports and pictures, Donna, CAL, Mary and all! KC was three weeks old yesterday, and Banner is three weeks old today - and they are growing so fast!

They won't be as hot today as the temps will stay in the 50's today with rain or storms possible.

Mary they are really big and cute in your pics. 3 weeks old already.....soon the tree they are in will have leaves and our view will change a bit.




I checked the stills and the adults have not been on the nest yet this morning....it is now 8:24. I will keep watching to see incoming and feeding....

8:28 Ma came in at 9 carrying food. Littles were there quickly. They are still being fed at 8:37.

that was not a long wait. Feeding lasted until 8:45. KC and Banner are now resting at 9. Ma flew off at about 8:52.



I'm off for and as I do household things will check in and out. I always like to know adults are around and that they are fed.....

Glad you saw the feeding, Donna! I noticed that there was one - and that both were being fed - but didn't think to make a note of how long it lasted.

Just saw another feeding in the same general area. The chicks then dozed for a while (alone in nest), and an adult has now returned and is apparently doing some nestorations that involves putting large pieces of straw on the chicks; I get the impression that they don't approve of this!

I saw Belle do that to Spring at the WVa nest too, Judy and I chuckled....
eagle on the nest since 10:42 and the eaglets are up and down and wiggling around but mostly snoozing.
11:36 one eaglet up and stretches but then goes down.
Notice those big feet.

It has been a cloudy afternoon and cooler. 1:58 feeding at 9.
2:12 one eaglet is feeding the other is hanging out and not interested when offered food.
2:24 eaglets are resting but will pop up and down. There are new sticks from 4 to 6.
3:13 one eaglet is resting in the center of nest the other is at 7.

Parent has been off and on the nest.
all seems calm
