Thank YouDebs and Welcometo this nest.....

I was gone all morning and have checked the stills. Sunny day here and until 12:02 one eagle in the nest but several switches are evident.

Both eagles in the nest at 12:02. The incoming eagle then stood in the bowl for about 8 min before settling on the eggs. Here are several stills from this a.m.

A sunny peaceful day at the St. Vrain nest.
The eggs were rolled and the eagles switched through out the day to incubate the eggs. One eagle did a bit of calling for relief from 2:42 to 2:49.
I went to check on the Sidney nest and missed the exchange that occurred a little before 3 p.m.

More of the marsh material or corn husks have been brought into the nest.

It has been a quiet day at the nest. The eggs have been rolled and the eagles have exchanged places. It is cloudy at 3:02 p m. and it is cooler this afternoon.

Will pass on pictures today. I was not able to watch in the late afternoon as the grandchildren stayed longer.
In a quick overview of the stills all looked peaceful at St. Vrain today. There was a short period in the afternoon when the nest was unattended but an eagle returned in good time. That was the only time that I could see the eggs all day on the stills..... They do keep bringing in new corn husks and marsh reeds. Forecast for tomorrow no longer has snow predicted and sun is forecast for most of the day.

bblwaveWubthis pair of eagles and this nest.....
