The eagles switched places several times through the afternoon. the eggs were rolled and only for limited periods were they off the egg cup.

Here are several afternoon and late in the day pictures.

Tuesday March 2, 2010 sunny day and in the 40's.

At daybreak there is frost on the nest. Stills show 2 egg rolls between 6 and 7 am.
Hard to tell if there was a switch.

I am not around this morning but will check stills later.

I'm back and checked the stills....I also saw both eagles on the nest at 2:01.

Pa on the nest at approx. 10:35 egg roll
11:20 Ma relieves pa and rolls eggs. It is now 50 degrees.

Wednesday March 3, 2010....30 degrees. Sunny and temps in 50's in the afternoon.

Some frost on the nest at 6:10. Stills show eagle standing in the nest. Egg rolls appear to have been done and there could have been 2 switches between 6 and 7:30. Here are a few pics of the early morning at the nest from the stills.




7:37 to 7:47 eagle facing 3 o'clock and all is calm at the nest.

I am noticing a delay on the time for the stills....when I am watching and recording the time live and then find a still of that same event the time can be different......

Eagles have made a switch at 8:48 and the eggs have been rolled several times from 7:55 to 8:48. I have not seen food in the nest today. They are most likely getting food while they are off the nest.
