The nest has been quiet and the eagles are very alert. There were egg rolls at about 10:30 and again at 12:10.

Most of the afternoon this eagle was on the nest...wing up and all was calm.

Eagle flies off the nest. The other eagle is on the fence to the right.


It started to snow about 4:45.

Golden I did notice all the hay it cracked me up but it is multipurpose so
it works and makes it soft for them all I watched off and on all day
and Dad did his share of incubating too; beautiful team work

27 degrees and light snow overnight. Eggs rolled at approx 6:30 and 7:08. It is possible that there have been 2 switches this morning.

Observation.....I see many Aspen branches in this nest. It is a common tree in this area.

All is calm at the nest and the snow has melted off the nest.

9: 36 eagle switch and eggs rolled.

10:51 both eagles on the nest. Eagles switch but no view of the eggs. They sure are snuggled down in that egg cup

12:06 eagle is up and rolls eggs. settles over the eggs, but keeps calling out

12:30 a flock of geese fly in formation by the nest to the right of the it.
