Bev, I don't know why I am up to darn early
With no eagles to see
I am a programmed eagleholic indeed
It's too early to frolic &I'd go back to bed
but my eyes are wide open, thoughts floating in my head
So I'll do what comes next,
read a poem or two filled with text
Seeing as you start your day
May it be filled with joy hooray
If you give it your 100%-you will succeed

BRAVO! Hooray! You both did it! And great too! Thank you Bev and Karen!
Good Morning from Texas.....
Bleu and I say to you, enjoy your morning all you (Northern for all y'all),
while I get some tea and think thoughts of thee, three,
happy to know that you are in the row now pulling a verse,
knitting a note, singing a song, sure does not need to be long!
Creative we be, integrative we three, then four, then more, and oh the lore!
We will make a new folklore, the eagles on the shore,
the eagles in the sky, then you and I.
So......Bye, from I, in Texas down here.....

In the heat of the day
I am not up to play
I'll find a shady spot
until its not so hot.
I don't have a pool
where I can relaxingly cool
So I'll find a quiet nook
And read my book.
scatter kindness and splash joy

Some days, it is hard to find what to say,
buddies who jump in to raise the spirits, to bring some laughter,
and make one un-bleu.
So friends from the Hollow and elsewhere who follow,
thank you, from your friend and her best friend Bleu.
The smiles will remain, without breaking the frame,
for as long as a moment can last, hopefully not fast!
So enjoy your good book, while I swim in the pool
when the sun is no longer on the water,
as it is too hot, right now to be in, refreshing it is not, I say,
but later, gaters the wet will suffice to bring no dismay in this day.
Whoops, no gaters please, they would not be a good thing
to have in a pool such a mine!
They must stay where they live and not come here to swim
as it would be anything BUT sublime.

well golden colorodo you are a natural poet
Please share with us often, there's nothing to it
Well I hope it cools down a little
To give a little break from the heat and the sun
Not to say you can't have a little fun
Just look at Bleu and Gus
Enjoying their day
No worries of a fuss
So I watch as my cats named Pansy and Pinecone
Drink from their fountain made from marble and stone
Pets have a way to balance their life
They sleep when they want
Eat when they can
Snuggle for affection
Hide from detection
I like this time of year
With all the fresh berries
Soon there'll be corn
Day trips on BC Ferries
If you give it your 100%-you will succeed

Pansy and Pinecone are lucky indeed to have an owner like you!
To just be around you must be a moment so special so true.
My Bleu would adore to be hanging out, visiting as quiet as a mouse,
and then to see the B.C. color which we do not have here, much as I wish it!
Those are cool names, I must say, yes they are,
and to find the names you did not have to look far!
To catch the kitties running about, is another story,
for their glory is to run, have fun and be done......then sleep.

As the sun goes down
I sit and ponder
Of all the beautiful things
We have to be thankful for.
Wonderful families, loving friends
Plenty of food and security
Our homes are filled with love
Peace and happiness abounding.
Tomorrow will come
With all the beauty and laughter
Children playing and singing
Fills our hearts with joy.
Today will be gone
But not forgotten
For we have so much
To remember and be grateful for.
Bev.

Oh joy, oh rapture unforseen,
the poetry is flying quite pristine,
it's coming from all ends of the Earth,
we are lucky to know it's beautiful worth.
My day is closing soon........
(If any of you are familiar with HMS Pinafore, the Gilbert & Sullivan Opera)......there is a tune that this poem goes with it as a song. Just a little twist to keep y'all on your toes.
