Waters dancing, swans are too,
they shine and look so totally blue.
Splashing down with white foam laughing,
I am finding myself diving and quacking.

So, on it goes into the night, the waters continue
but not the swans, so long!

Purr Posting

It's perplexing, but a purr is posted long before a paw,
and then the purrs grow louder as the pawful vision starts to leap,
bump, and squeak into a landing on the bed,
where you might have enjoyed putting your head instead.

Pleasant prospects putting paws on the place where you sleep,
but paws and purrs say it all for those who will be replete,
with moments of quiet, or a nudge of a paw, or a purr in the ear,
which does say it all.

Contentment, pleasure, pointedly placing a word of peace,
so off to dreamland you go with a paw in your place,
your heart full of pleasure and love on the wing.

Dashing and Splashing

Winter dashing through the snow in Nova Scotia which glows,
to the music of the depths to play in Thanksgiving time.
Build a snow fort, snowman and then see Peggy's Cove,
in white glistening on the waters froth full of snow balls thrown so far.

Splashing in other sites around the country far, with waters
on beaches and far reaches of pools, where the temps are not so cool,
but then again it could change in a moment translucent with winter's
entrance upon the scene previously so serene.

Jump in the snow bank, and jump in the waves, both
offer moments of laughter and joy, while all of us wonder
what tomorrow will bring....will it be cool, hot, wet, snowy, rainy,
windy or all in a jumble so deep like the snow.

Eagles everywhere all over the trees, visiting the spot where the fish
come in a stream to follow their course which is written in their lives,
and we wonder at the wonder of eagles in each and every turn of our sight,
while giving us no time to breathe or a respite.

The joys of these moments are beyond our expectations,
we cannot envision the possibilities so new to this world,
yet remember that we are just observers in a world that spins around daily,
with us as passengers voyaging through time after time.
