The thing of it is - I can't seem to pry myself away from my computer!

A journey begins with an egg or two
A thousand plus viewers,many old timers and many new
We have eagle passion, housework put aside
Hold on tight, you are in for a ride

Now much is off cam, out of our view
Oh how our curious eyes would love a glimpse
of the skies they soar, new paces they perch
New adventures they do search.
Once an egg, now an eagle
Once real cute, now so regal

If love could protect
I send them my love
May nature be kind
So again next year we'll find

Ourselves here again

Drop in on the eagle lovers and wildlife friends forum
Leave a note, all are welcome to come
We'll keep in touch, share some stuff

We all go along for this incredible journey,
not knowing what will transpire and if it will be joyful,
we open our hearts hoping for soaring and watch each moment
for the start of the exploration forward.

The eagles start so little, hardly able to stand,
mom supports them, feeds them, loves them until they are grand.
We cannot believe the wingspan we see, as the moment comes
for them to be free.

This is their destiny one that is scary, and yet,
grand exploration into the bleu skies is not contrary
to what we would wish for ourselves if we could,
just fly like an eagle to soar beyond, oh I wish we would!

Just As You Are

Life is changing as the daily sun
We're so busy, always on the run
Remember to slow down
Not move so fast
For life is precious so smile, don't frown
You may have your burdens of which you are allowed
But remember to be grateful for your life joys
Not all can have such fun and such toys
I know a few confined to wheelchairs
May never know the freedom of lifes little cares
So I try to honor the fact I can walk
And choose my words carefully with the grace that I can talk
Such little things are big
To someone who can not
Unable to feed oneself because the hand is too weak
Or not stable enough
Boy imagine life can be tough
So I do not complain of my shortcomings
but choose to focus on my strengths
For life is what you make it
And choose to overcome
Life is always going to challenge us
So enjoy the work with all the fuss
Life is a choice
at least for the day
So be grateful, thankful and love
what you have, love what you give
And love who you are because you are the luckiest person in the world just as you are

Time has taught me the meaning of love
In times of trouble I am grateful to know you

For restoring my faith in humanity
