Such is the beauty of a newborn babe
Childbirth the race
Ends with such grace
A lovely girl to hold
A memory to be told
for years yet to come
Such love and joy to bring into the world
Nothing like granny love
To feel safe as a dove
So take in the love
Of tiny fingers grabbing yours
a bond so strong
Eyes so clear
It will be quite the year.
Baby love to spark your day
The joy that will light the way.

Congratulations to the whole family.

WubRed HeartWubRoger and Spunky left a note for Carolyn tied to a tree
It read "Congrats on the new babe granny"WelcomeLorenaWelcome
Lorenas her name with a cute little fanny
Oh what sweetness, oh what joys
We just love little girls and little boys
Each day brings new moments
So much joy and delight
A miracle that's perfect and just right!
So busy times set in for a moment in time
All is good with nursery rhymes
Enjoy this miracle that will brighten your days
She'll laugh and cry in her own sweet ways
Bless her tender heart as babies do
That is the gift given to youWubWubRed Heart

I found the note tied to the tree and said,
Bleu do you think that note might be for me?

Bleu looked at me in her knowing kind of way,
and I grabbed the note as the tree started to sway.

Roger and Spunky are certainly kind,
to remember me in a moment so sublime!

Time seems to be accelerating here and I am at a loss,
for moments to post here without being in a rush.

Roger Yak and Spunky Monkey I believe are traveling around the falls,
to discover berries and yummies that there are plenty to be found.

Bandit Raccoon just figured out he has the perfect disguise,
and on Halloween will not need to go find a new prize.

As for Peter Dove, he is flying all around the hills,
to feel the Fall air ruffling his bill.

They might just settle there for a bit of time as they
have found a place quiet and prime.

I do not know if Ernestine Yak misses Roger and if she
will search high and low to find him, or not bother Roger.

You wonder about all sorts of things, and this is just one,
we are lucky to have them in our lives until their story is done.

Now in reality their story is never done, but here at this place,
we only can see what is written in this space.

So wish them happy berry hunting and hovering above,
and when they return fully they will show us their love.

How about we send all on a Club Med vacation, all expenses paid
Into the sunset they fade?
But if you like their adventure to go on
I'm happy to oblige
I'll wait to turn the page
Before letting the dove out of the cage

Carolyn, what would you like to do
End their journey now & focus on babies & Bleu?

Interesting indeed, a discussion in a poem?
I am thinking as I type, discovering my direction.

Their journey is fun and they are quite the quartet,
yet it could become mundane at some point and that is just not right.

It might be best to lessen my load, along with that of Roger Yak,
and just enjoy whatever poetry flows with the creativity that is always here.

They can come back in shorter vignettes some time in the future,
and be enjoyed by all and kept fresh, a sure bet!

We know they are safe and happy in their place of abode,
so let Peter Dove out of the cage to fly free and swoon at the moon.

Roger Yak will wander with Spunky Monkey and Bandit Raccoon
y'all just trust that their adventures are exciting and inviting.

I will think of them often on nights that are cool, wallowing
in the waterfall clean, pristine and full of sound.

The songs they have collected will be sung all over Outer Mongolia,
for song gatherers such as our quartet are a legendary bet!

With sad tears we will fondly tell them "sayonara", for we will see
them again when the need for song reappears in our circle.

Just remember, my friends, they are wandering on, and their
song, while temporarily gone, is long, and continues on.

Hugs to Roger Yak, Spunky Monkey, Bandit Raccoon and
Peter Dove, with ALL OF MY LOVE!

Just as the sun sets so will this quartet
Thank you Carolyn for their story- no regrets
When and if they appear again
so their story will begin then.
Much a rest for all for now
Leave your pencils out for next time

Pencil is out and waiting,
other tales will be told in between.

My mind flies from creative idea to another
and that does not mean the former was cast asunder.

All things revolve in this world in a big circle,
coming back to the first when a day is new or the idea is due.

Right now busy is the word, so in the games room
I will not be seen.

I will be back eventually with bells upon my fingers
so you will know I am the ringer!

Remember my stories for they are alive,
taking care to keep them forever in your vibe.

I carry them with each day in and out,
never knowing when a new idea will sprout!

Catch you later my friends, around the next bend,
with a song in my heart and a poem in my fingers.

Each day's joy is special so cherish each one,
you never get it back after it is done, from the singer ringer!

It's nice to know
Poetry pose
will never close
Some regulars are taking a LOA
But pop in once in awhile hooray!
So meander we will
Travel down the quiet path
Giving baby or dog a much needed bath
Either way, we will play when there is time
Or stop in to write a rhyme
Be happy is the goal of the day
Do whatever you must to find a way.
We a cheer and a smile I send my best wishes
To everyone here, there and everywhere
