Yes! Karen, great! I love the thought.......you feel these and they are so much fun. All y'all are incredible.
So.....Oyasuminasai from Texas (Good Night)
Enjoy the quiet times, when the world settles down,
find your place of peace and settle there,
and I will catch you tomorrow, on the new dawn.

jas what a treat to see on this sheet
a poem written for Bleu and about her ears?
Her birthday is in February but that is OK, as
I'm in no rush for another quite yet.
She is just three and that is perfectly perfect
to be just three!
When we started going in to the nursing home she
was just two and that was wonderful for Bleu.
In this year we have served she has aged and learned,
to know how to deal with wheelchairs and walkers.
My morning thought today is a tribute to her,
it is all about the sense of sound.
Dogs are clear on this they hear everything far
and around about.
When my hubby's car is coming home she bounces
to the door, long before it approaches our street,
with a toy in her mouth, waiting with a golden smile,
to see him and give him a grin.
A dog needs love, reassurance and such in order to life a happy life.
So Bleu will be told her friend from B.C. sends her love this perfect day.
Ohayoo Gozaimasu! (Good Morning)

KAREN....on your check in here.....I loved the picture of PYM! PYM is adorable and a winner!
PYM so trim and white when not running in the mud,
loves to swim, retrieve, just like a retriever, a small believer,
PYM is Karen's beautiful dog, and stands tall on a log,
to go and retrieve the toy thrown into the water.
PYM is a mixture of several breeds
hence the unusual name given by a son,
Poodle, Yorkie and Maltese, and so pristine
he reflects the glacial mountain's splendor.
The mountain is outside of Karen's window and each day
shows a picture different indeed.
Karen posts them so we all know the glory the mountain shows,
so thank you for letting me see the wonders of our creator.
dedicated to PYM from Carolyn

This is a classic and one of my favorites:Enjoy!
Invictus William Ernest Henley
OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
~ William Ernest Henley (Invictus)

However your day goes
Full of worries or woes
Come to Bleus Corner here
We'll give you some cheer
It's a happy place
With lots of room and space
For all kinds of poetry
Something for everyone to see
Welcome if you're new
Try the bread bowl with stew
It's new to the cafe
Sit back and stay!
If you give it your 100%-you will succeed

The sounds of poetry, haiku and prose
resound from the walls of Bleu's Cafe, Corner, Abode, Home,
where we all come for bit of silence.
Tapping the keys with words flowing out, no way to stop them,
not even a shout, can restrain the magic of words.
The haiku is flowing here and afar in the Forum for all to enjoy.
A gentle thought for all of you, remember to say thanks every day,
for the gifts you are given, both large and small, for they are unique to y'all.
We can duplicate, replicate, or double up on the gifts we each have,
so we lean on our friends here to make each other glad.
I feel the joy bouncing around, and try to catch it without a sound,
you might have to listen very carefully to hear it, but hear it you will,
if you try using senses often restrained by what we think we should know,
instead of jumping up into our spirits and catching the flow.
Then bounce for joy, y'all, enjoy the song, I am singing you now,
from this quiet refrain to the symphony of nature around your own homes,
showing you the magic you need to be whole in spirit and heart,
not sad in the dark; this is my song a gift to you for a lark.
