There are now two eggs! Grin Here's laurad's s'cap from the Maine forum - our first glimpse of the two eggs:

We think it's likely the egg was laid around 6:07 pm yesterday, March 11. Laurad has a nice gif of that time period on the Maine forum. Because posting moving pictures is against the rules (they make it hard for dial-up users, and some can cause problems for people prone to migraines), here's a link to laurad's post on the Maine forum - click. Doralyn has a number of pictures of the eagles with their two eggs on the following pages - definitely looking good! Grin

Morning Central Maine wave

March 28 2010

Mom is incubating; looks abit windy there today Mom's
head feathers look wind swept at times.
There are fresh branches and boughs in the bowl Titter
Mom or Dad needs to move that long narrow branch at 6
otherwise Mom will go cross eyed and besides it is blocking our view Titter

I almost hate to comment with all the bad weather elsewhere - but it's a beautiful morning in Maine!

It's probably another 10 days before there will be any signs of hatching here.

Edited to add a picture of the family:
