great to see an egg this season....as for the other MAINE nest....seems like they are nesting else where...not much has been done on the cam nest to show they are interested in laying eggs there. Unfortunate the cam operators have not tried to find where there are raising their families over the last few seasons.....

Dad brought Mom some lunch abit ago.
So was able to capture a few snappies.
Also, the egg I have noticed seems to have
some black looking debris on the egg hope
it is just nesting materials.

Judy do you know when the other cam here will be back to normal
they have some utube recording on there instead. Would be nice
to have the other view too

Thanks for the morning pics, CAL - probably tomorrow before we're likely to see another egg, but occasionally they're only two days apart.

Unfortunately it looks as if the wide-angle cam is out for the season. I don't know what happened to it, but they feel it would take a site visit to fix, and the cam is too close to the nest for them to work on it while the eagles are nesting.

I don't know if there are any other options - it would be nice if they could come up with something, but of course the safety of the eagles comes first.
