Cam is going live March 1st! Hopefully this will be a less "exciting" season than last year. Last year there was an ongoing battle as to what species would claim this nest. Kestrels were eventually driven out and I think Doves or Pigeons won in the end after a fight with Jackjaws...I think that is what they are called.

Pigeons have once again moved in this Kestrel nest....I really hoped the Kestrels would regain control and nest again...early in the season still but this could be another year where we don't see Kestrels. That is too bad for at least me because I love these creatures.

they only have one latest video showing a brief video of a Kestrel...too bad eh? I still would rather have Kestrel's to watch...

Questions I have:

Is the female still alive?
If she's still alive, why hasn't she protected this nest box?
If alive, has she found a new mate?
