Welcome to the Ten Mile Point Eagles thread for the 2015/2016/2017 seasons. This nest is on private property in the Ten Mile Point area and has produced many eaglets over the past years. Last season 2 eaglets successfully fledged from this nest. Info on this nest from previous years can be found here. Please feel welcome to post your observations, photos and videos of these eagles if you visit their nest area.

Beautiful juvenile elle. Could have been one of last years eaglets from this nest. Thanks for posting your photos Left thumb up

One eagle was in the nest today, peeking through the nest sticks. S/he had its tail feathers and the tip of one wing showing. I didn't see or hear the other one anywhere, although I did see one flying in the distance.

Due to the fact that the eagles did not have any young this past season, I do not see the need to set up a new thread for the coming season. I have changed the subject of this thread to include the 2016/2017 season. Please feel welcome to continue posting your observations, photos and videos on this thread if you visit their nest territory.

A friend told me she did see an adult in the nest that appeared to be incubating on one of her visits to the nest and on another visit she saw an eaglet. There were no more sightings of any eaglets in the nest by me or my friends during the rest of the season Sad

I wish the eagles a safe journey to the salmon buffet and hope to see them back in their territory soon, looking healthy and well fed Left thumb up I will keep my fingers crossed that this pair will produce young next spring.
